The large bed acts as a centerpiece for the room and brings a traditional element to the design. With a large walk-in closet through the bathroom, a dresser isn't necessary. The large sectional gives plenty of seating space while still being stylish. The armchairs add extra seating and interest with a subdued geometric pattern in the same color palette. The gold accents are shared with the living and dining areas. For the cabinets, I chose a two-tone look with white wall cabinets and brown base cabinets to match the wood furniture in the living and dining rooms. The countertop is a white marble-looking quartz with gold and gray veining. The countertop continues up the walls to act as the backsplash. The master bedroom is painted a light beige with a navy blue accent wall. The light carpet keeps with the color scheme but adds a more comfortable feel than hardwood. The furniture is a mid-toned wood with a gray wash treatment to match the furniture in the living and dining areas. The wooden dining table, sideboard, and bookcase contrast the lighter neutrals in the room. The large table sits eight with room for more chairs when the family entertains guests. The lower half of each wall is gray with two walls green and the others light blue. The furniture is in light gray finishes with a dark blue carpet to bring out the blue in the paint. The accents of orange add a bit of playfulness while also echoing the orange in the living room. The daughter's room (right) is kept neutral with purple accents. The walls are a very light purple with an accent wall with wallpaper behind the bed. The medium-toned laminate wood floor adds a bit of the rustic cabin feel. The furniture is a darker wood tone to also add a rustic feel. The fabrics keep in the color scheme being navy blue and off-white to brighten the space. The large windows are made a focal point by having dark wood around them. The round coffee table and side tables are kid friendly with no sharp corners. The resin table in the dining room acts as an interesting accent in the space and adds to the lakeside cabin feel. The floor tiles are dark blue with a wave like pattern inspired by the house's location on a lake. The wall tile is a light tan that pulls from the tones in the pebble accent tile around the shower and bathtub. The vanity and storage cabinet are from the same collection as the furniture in the master bedroom which helps connect the master suite as one area. The warm white cabinets contrast the dark laminate flooring and have a more contemporary feel. With the island and dining table connected in the middle, there's lots of room on either side for people to maneuver. The door style and bronze hardware incorporate the rustic elements found in the rest of the design.
